Success stories are inspirational, especially when you hear from the entrepreneurs. We shall cover one such story today in our inspirational video series if of Style-In Salon. In an interview with Shaila Devkar, an entrepreneur, a dreamer, and an achiever. Shaila Devkar has been in the beauty industry for the last 14 years with a salon in the prime area of Panvel and another one in Kharghar. The brand of Style-In Salon has only soared higher with each passing year - all thanks to the immense efforts and consistency of this women entrepreneur. She started her career after hitting a setback in her personal life, which simply motivated her to grow further. She emphasized in the interview that her daughter is her inspiration as well as motivation. She started with this dream solely because of her and will continue with it. When asked how did this journey start, Ms Shaila replied that few of her relatives had a beauty parlour and she found it interesting. Once she had basic knowledge from her relatives, she went ahead for gaining professional certification in a number of courses including nutrition, advance beauty course, and skin treatments. Her family was her support system along with a few of her friends and neighbours. She had a wonderful time setting up a business as well as taking care of her baby girl. Now when asked her to look back and tell us all about the obstacles she had, she just smiles and says there were literally none to mention. This shows how much she has grown and gives each and every one the inspiration to grow higher. Dreams are what drives us towards future plans, and when asked Ms Devkar about it, she replied by saying that she sees a chain of salons throughout the country. She also wants a specific idea associated with her salon i.e. a chemical-free salon. In short, she will invest in a number of Beauty treatments that exclude the use of chemicals.
